Credefi NFT Bonds Now Available on Polytrade Marketplace Offering Fixed Yield Backed by Real-World Collateral

Sofia, Bulgaria – March 31, 2025 – Credefi has launched its NFT Bonds product on the Polytrade Marketplace, making the long-anticipated fixed-income offering available to on-chain investors. The product introduces a new category of tokenized, real-world asset-backed debt instruments with fixed terms and predictable returns, integrated into Polytrade’s Real World Asset (RWA) ecosystem.
The NFT Bonds are designed with a 12-month maturity and provide a fixed annual yield of 22%, distributed through quarterly payouts. Each bond is backed by over $750,000 in collateral, consisting of real-world assets originated through Credefi’s lending platform. The bonds are fractional and tradable, allowing for greater liquidity and accessibility compared to traditional fixed-income products.
Credefi’s lending model focuses on financing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the European Union, a sector with an estimated $176 billion debt financing gap. Borrowers on the platform are required to provide collateral and undergo a proprietary risk assessment process that is validated by Experian. This process includes loan-to-value (LTV) ratios of up to 120%, a risk predictability rate of over 85%, and a current default rate of 0%, as reported by the platform.
By tokenizing its debt instruments as NFTs, Credefi enables them to be listed and traded on marketplaces such as Polytrade. This tokenization allows each bond to be fractionalized and freely transferable, introducing a level of flexibility for investors that is not commonly available in conventional debt markets.
The product sits within Credefi’s broader alternative lending platform, which has facilitated over $3.7 million in total liquidity. The platform offers various investment opportunities, including loan portfolios, single loan exposures, and corporate debt instruments, all collateralized by real-world assets such as real estate and future receivables.
Credefi operates with a multi-layered approach to security. Accepting tangible assets as collateral helps reduce exposure to crypto market volatility. The platform’s architecture includes a dual-token model: $CREDI is used to enhance loan security and provide access to collateral protection insurance, while $xCREDI—earned through staking $CREDI in the Module X system—serves as both a utility and governance token.
Polytrade, which hosts the NFT Bonds, is a marketplace dedicated to tokenized real-world assets. The integration of Credefi’s NFT Bonds expands the range of credit products available on the platform, adding a fixed-income option backed by SME loans from the European market.
Credefi’s partnership with Polytrade aligns with its goal of creating accessible, secure, and real-economy-based financial products for crypto-native users.
